History & Growth Strategies
Current as of the 30th June 2006 LSM Technologies has grown rapidly since its inception in June 2003. Demand from our existing and rapidly growing customer / clientèle base will ensure that LSM Technologies proceeds to invest in an aggressive expansion of its business. This will also ensure the consistent and high level of services and product technology supply that our customers / clientèle have come to expect from LSM Technologies. June 2003: - LSM Technologies started as Vogel Centralised lubrication Systems Australia with its primary product being Vogel.
- Initial infrastructure was established to support the product with employees at only three (3) at the time.
- Head Office and Location was Queensland- Brisbane.
March 2005: - LSM Technologies acquired AAA Lubrication from Keith Watson located in Perth.
- Company name was changed to LSM Technologies to represent its new product technologies / services focused on Lubrication + Safety + Maintenance.
- LSM Technologies web site was implemented with an extensive Intranet and Administration functions- over 40,000 documents and support information has been implemented intro this technology.
- New Accounts Management System was implemented with integrated Service Management functions so as to better co- ordinate installations, service work and large complexed projects.
Oct 2006- 2007: - Continued development of LSM Technologies Web site / Intranet and Administration saw the implementation of our logging of our Service work QA.
- Orlaco Camera Viewing Solutions joined our product technology portfolio to provide our customers with enhanced Safety + Damage Control + Productivity.
- Additional Field Support Personnel were added to the LSM Technologies Team.
- New CRM (Customer Relationship Management) Software has been implemented to provide enhanced tracking of customers requests, technical issues, sales and marketing requirements.
June 2008. - LSM Technologies now has establish locations in Brisbane and Perth.
- Over 13 personnel now make up the LSM Technologies Team with various skills in management, marketing, administration, field services and sales. The Field Service Team is now made up of 6 qualified Technicians.
- Sales have grown to nearly 5.0 million / annum which is a growth of approximately 1.0 million / annum from zero in year 2003.
- Ascorel Payload Weighing Systems for Mining / Earthmoving Vehicles and Anti- collision / Safe Load Indicators for Cranes joined our product technology portfolio.
2009- Future. - LSM Technologies will proceed with an aggressive expansion of its business to meet the growing demand from our customers and clientèle.
- Additional personnel will be added to cater for business demand in NSW and Victoria.
- Our Brisbane Technology Centre is planned to be built in 2009 / 2010 which will be LSM Technologies Head Offices for Logistics, Sales, Technical Engineering Design / Support and Training.
- Facilities will consist of state- of- the- art Workshop Bays to cater for in- house installations, Fabrication Shop for specialised jobbing, Educational facilities for upto 45 person training auditorium, with full catering and audio / visual technology, in- house Testing Laboratory, etc.
- Additional personnel will be placed to service South Australia / Northern Territory.
- Educational and Training programs both on- line SCORM compliant and off- line will be provided in our new Technology Centre.
- Additional facilities are planned for our Intranet for enhanced on- line technical support, trouble- shooting, education, service logging (with customer access), Case Problems / Solutions database and forum- and much more.
- Additional product technologies will be implemented into our portfolio to once again add further value to our business and services for our customers / clientèle.
- With our Continuous Improvement Philosophy, LSM Technologies aims to ensure that we continue to add- value to our Services and Product Technologies, so as to maintain our position as "the best supplier imaginable" to our customers and clientèle.
