Step 2 is to Calculate Dosages for each Tyre- that is how much of your selected Ride- on Sealant and Balancer you need to put inside each of your Tyre's. Please use the handy Calculator below.

  1. Select your Formulation from the Drop Down List.
  2. Enter the number of tyres you want to dose
  3. Enter the tyre designation data into the respective Fields.
  4. Click "Calculate" and your Dosages are provide for both Regular and Severe use. Note: amounts are in USA Ounces- multiply by 29.57 to calculate millilitres. 
  5. This information can be emailed to yourself and / or to our technical sales.

CHS: Commercial Truck Dosage Calculations

This Dosage calculation uses Tyre Width (inches) X Tyre Height (inches) X 0.082 = dosage rounded to the nearest USA Ounce.

Tyre Height is (2 x Tyre Width x Aspect Ratio) + Rim Diameter.   

1. Example Tyre: Metric
Tyre designation: 295/80R22.5 
295 = Tyre Width in millimetres 
80 = Aspect Ratio = % of tyre Width that each Sidewall is tall 
22.5 = Rim Diameter in inches 
 
2. Example Tyre: Non- Metric
Tyre Designation: 11R22.5
11= Tyre Width in inches
22.5= Rim Diameter in inches
Note: Aspect Ratio
is presumed 100 that is, Width= Sidewall Height.

The Calculator provides for Regular Dosage and  Severe Dosage applications (Regular Dosage is multiplied by a factor of 1.25).

Severe Dosages are used where it is expected that the Tyre (s) will be subjected to numerous punctures / injuries- eg Waste or Construction Truck.
