City Upgrades its Mower Cab to Enhance Operator's Safety and Comfort Hot humid weather and difficult terrain combine to produce a challenging cab environment.

The constant racking pressures from climbing steep inclines make it difficult to stay in the driver’s seat much less keep the cab sealed. Florida City recently responded to its cab environment concerns by installing a new roof mounted HVAC system with an integrated RESPA-SD powered Precleaner+  Filter +Pressuriser (PFP).

In addition to reducing operator exposure to airborne contaminants, the RESPA-SD also protects the HVAC system by keeping the evaporator coils and fresh air plenum free from dust and contamination.  This extends not only air filter life but also extends the life of the HVAC system.

Municipalities, like all private businesses, are seeking ways to extend the life of their machines. In hot, humid environments, functioning HVAC systems make the difference between the productive use of a machine and costly and excessive downtime.

Cab air quality was previously tied to ineffective recirculation filters. A sealed cab system with an efficient HVAC coupled with a RESPA-SD provide dramatically extended service intervals on the HVAC and provide the highest level of comfort to the operator both in air quality and cold air conditioned air.

And all of these benefits are in addition to the cost savings the system will provide.

As seen in this picture, even the smallest cabs can enjoy the benefits of this remarkable system.
