The Filtration Unit is made up off:
- P1 Filter Panel
- P2 Filter Panel
- P3 Filter Panel (Hepa)
- Activated Carbon Filter (for Toxic Gas Absorption).
This leads to a number of concerns, including:
- If particulate- that can be seen with the human eye- is passing through three (3) levels of filtration then where are the gases going that the Activated Carbon Filter is supposed to absorb?
- Visible particulate after the filter elements means no positive sealing.
- Multiple level of Filtration does not mean better filtration- once the Hepa Filter is blocked- then the whole system fails and no air gets to the HVAC / Cabin / Operator.
The Filtration Panel units was replaced with the RESPA HVAC Air Precleaner + Filtration + Pressuriser Technology.
